| Established in 1988, the Blue Coat Pancake House opened as a more casual dining option continuing a tradition of great food for which its upscale sister operation -- the beloved award-winning Blue Coat Inn -- was already immensely popular. |

The name was updated to the Countrie Eatery to reflect its success at filling the void between fast food and upscale dining establishments.
The Dover family which created and successfully operated the historic Blue Coat Inn for nearly 37 years continues to operate the Countrie Eatery.
The comfortable country atmosphere decorated with cows, pigs, horses, and items of local interest takes you back to a more unhurried time as you relax and enjoy wholesome dishes prepared to order.
We continue to use quality ingredients in the preparation of our food and at the same time strive to keep our prices reasonable. Children can order from their own menu. We offer a variety of daily specials as well as a wide selection of luscious desserts -- some even sugar free -- all baked on the premises.
